I juggle my time so much - I should join the circus!

Another wacky week in paradise!  Jennifer and I (mostly Jen at this point) are working at finishing "Emily Finds a Dragon" and getting it to the printer.  I finished  "Jimmy and Cinder" and I'll be hunting for an agent in the new year for this middle grade chapter book.  Plus, the real estate industry is going full tilt even though were heading into December.

I'm working away on two new projects, one is mostly at the research stage, although I write scenes as they come to me, but I'm primarily focusing on another middle grade (or YA) book to finish first.  I like to have a couple of things going on at once since some days, when i sit down to write, I'm not mentally sharp enough to be creative so I do research on the other.

Jen and I spent some time at the Magnetic Hill School fall fair a few weeks ago.  We sold 33 copies of "Owen and the Dinosaur" which puts us close to 2200 sold.  We're really pleased with the way it continues to sell and we hope to finish up the ones we have as we start promoting "Emily Finds a Dragon" in the new year.  From what I read, self published books rarely sell more than 500 copies, so if we sell 3000 in total, we're doing just fine.
